Mountain View Volleyball
Home of the Bears

We are Mountain View Volleyball of Mountain View High School. We have a Junior Varsity (coached by Bionca Thomas, a veteran coach with over a decade of experience at Mountain View and beyond) and A Varsity team (coached by Maria Cirone, a young coach with drive entering her second year as the head of the program, and Assistant Coach May, a former college athlete who has a passion for player development on and off the court). Under the guidance of these leaders are 27 female athletes dedicated to each other and the growth of our program.

Our team motto is "Progress not Perfection". We strive for growth in teamwork, accountability, conduct, academics, and skill on and off the court. Last season, this led to our varsity team doubling the amount of wins on the court from one season to the next and a program average GPA of 3.80!

Off the court, our girls are involved in the school and local community. We have many who participate in clubs such as GSLT (Gwinnett Student Leadership Team), Student Council, Skills USA, HoPe (Hispanic Organization Promoting Education), and more. They are youth leaders in their churches and positive, proud graduates of Mountain View Volleyball at colleges across the country in the fall.
